How many General ability points do you start with?

In the core book it says you get 75 general ability points. In the Dead Rock Seven adventure book it says that the pregen characters already have 40 general points allocated and players can add another 15. That's 55 total. Which is correct?
When in doubt, I usually go w/the rulebook. +, I've played several times & 75 points is barely enough for a competent starting PC.
The value in the corebook is correct. I honestly can't recall how many points the DR7 pregens are built on, but I'll dig it up and get back to you. The adventure book was written before the core rules were finalised, so maybe I missed a change.
